General Terms and Conditions

Above mentioned positions are on consolidated contract for a fixed duration and against approved projects.

The positions are purely on contract basis on consolidated emoluments, initially for a period of 1 year or up to the duration of project whichever is less. Term of contract may be considered for extension for a further period based on performance of the employee & requirement and duration of project. However C-DAC reserves the right to terminate the contract even during the agreed contract period or extended contract period without assigning any reason or by giving 30 days prior notice or salary in lieu thereof.

Duration of projects also may vary as per requirements. However, based on organizational requirements, the selected employee may be assigned to other project also.

The positions are time bound, co-terminus with the Project and are purely contractual in nature for specified duration.

1. Relaxation/ Age Limit:
  • Applicants belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC)/PWD/ Ex-servicemen would be eligible for relaxations according to the Government of India norms
  • Government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations.
  • C-DAC internal candidates also will be eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years including other age relaxations.

2. Qualification:
  • All the qualifying qualifications should be regular course(s) from AICTE/UGC approved/recognized University/Deemed University/Institutes. The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be recognized as equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE.
  • Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a qualifying degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute. Please also obtain a certificate to this effect from University / Institute, which shall be required at the time of interview.
  • Candidates awaiting final year examination results are not eligible to apply. Only passed-out candidates can apply.
3. Experience:
  • Only those experiences which are relevant and acquired after the passing date of the qualifying qualification will be considered. The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding to applicants.

Brief Information: Directorate of Governance Reforms (DGR), Punjab has issued a notification for the recruitment of Deputy General Manager (DGM), Assistant General Manager (AGM), Software Engineer and other vacancies. How to register online to participate in Army Rally Bharti 2020 -21?

Candidates desirous of participating in the army recruitment rally will have to register themselves before December 04 by visiting the army recruitment website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment rally will be sent on registered email on 05-06 December. Those who have already registered do not have to register again. Keep in mind that registration has to be done between 05 November to 04 December 2020.

Details of post-wise qualification-
Constable – General Duty:
– Age limit – 17 ½ -21 (born between 1 October 1999 to 01 April 2003)
– 10th pass with at least 45% marks and 33% marks in every subject

Minimum length and weight – 163 cm, 48 kg.

Soldier Technical:
– Age limit – 17 ½ -23 (born between 1 October 1997 to 01 April 2003)
– 12th pass with at least 50% marks (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English subject required in 12th). And it is necessary to have 40 percent marks in every subject

Soldier Nursing Assistant:
– Age limit – 17 ½ -23 (born between 1 October 1997 to 01 April 2003)
10 + 2 / Intermediate (PCB) examination with English with at least 50 per cent marks.

Soldier Technical (Aviation, Ammunition Examiner):
– Age limit – 17 ½ -23 (born between 1 October 1997 to 01 April 2003)
– 12th pass with at least 50% marks (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English subject required in 12th). And it is necessary to have 40 percent marks in every subject

Soldier Tradesman (Dresser, Chef, Steward, Support Staff, Washerman, Painter and Decorator and Tailor):

– 10th pass. And it is necessary to have 33 percent marks in every subject

Soldier Tradesman (Mess Keeper, House Keeper):

Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificates in original with two attested
photocopies with them to the rally site :-
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs
developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three
months old. Computer printouts / photo shopped photographs will NOT be accepted.
(c) Education Certificates.
(i) Education Certificates with mark sheets in original of all educational
qualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric/ Intermediate / Graduation etc from
recognised School / College / Board / University.
(ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the
head of the educational institution of concerned Board / University.
(iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School
Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO / DEO.
(d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate with photograph, issued by Tehsildar /
District Magistrate.
(e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph of the candidate,issued by
the Tehsildar / District Magistrate.
(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/ SDM. (if religion as
“SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate).
(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the
School/College Principal/Headmaster, where the candidate last studied.
(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph, issued by Village
Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six months.
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age
with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six months.
(k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/ SOEX/ SOW/ SOWW Candidates are required to
produce the following documents:-

(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by
Record Officer with Personal number, Rank, Name and particular of the Record Officer
issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/ stamp is endorsed.

(ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees
Non-Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class/ Executive/
Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of
affidavit attached as per Appendix A.
(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced. Name and date
of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.
(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/ B/ C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should
have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/ B/ C
pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group
Commanders.
(m) Sports Certificate.
(i) Sportsmen who have represented India at International level and State at
National level within the last two years. For list of sports under which, relaxation in
physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
website.
(ii) Sportsmen who have represented District at State level and University team or
regional team at District level with 1st / 2nd position within last two years. Sports
certificates should be with registration number and from govt recognized sports
institutes / bodies as under:-
(aa) All Sr / Jr National
Championship certificates
Respective National Federations.

Certificates

Important Notice 9534 vacancies UP Police comming soon in 2021- Important notice of UP Police Recruitment 2020 those canditate, who were waiting for long time. The process of direct recruitment to the vacant 9,534 vacancies in UP Police, PAC and Fire Department has been expedited. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is preparing to conduct examinations for this in January 2021. This recruitment process includes the posts of Sub Inspector in Civilian Police, Platoon Commander in PAC and Fire Officer II in Fire Department. It has the highest number of 9027 posts of sub-inspector. The 484 posts are that of platoon commander. There are 23 posts of Fire Officer.

As soon as the recruitment process started, the number of posts of sub-inspector increased as the DGP received a petition. This information was given by the Additional Secretary (Recruitment) of the Board. He informed that candidates who do not appear in the examination on the rescheduled date and time will not be given a second chance. This exam will be conducted on Friday at 7.30 am at Reserve Police Lines Lucknow.

a) The selection process shall be held at Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Kochi or interview through electronic
media in view of Covid-19 pandemic issues or at any place as decided by CSL.
b) For the posts of Assistant General Managers, Managers & Deputy Managers, the method of
selection shall include a Power Point Presentation, Group discussion and Personal Interview.
Candidates who are provisionally short-listed for the posts shall be required to do the Power Point
Presentation highlighting their work experience (duration of not more than ten minutes). The
work experience shall be assessed by selection committee based on the documents submitted by
the candidates and the power point presentation on work experience. Based on the Power Point

Presentation, the candidates shall be further short-listed for Group discussion and Personal
Interview. Only candidates who are meeting the notified work experience and job requirements
shall be permitted to attend Group discussion & Personal Interview. The marks shall be assigned
to the short-listed candidates based on the following parameters for selection:-
a) Work Experience in the relevant job/ area : 40% marks
b) Power Point Presentation on work experience : 30% marks
c) Group Discussion : 10% marks
d) Personal Interview : 20% marks
c) For the post of Deputy Managers, depending on number of online applications,
Objective/Descriptive type Tests may be conducted.
d) For the post of Assistant Manager (Electrical), the method of selection shall include Objective type
Test, Descriptive type Test, followed by a Group Discussion & Personal Interview. The details are
as under:-
(i) Depending on number of online applications, the Objective/Descriptive type Tests shall be
through online/offline mode.
(ii) The Objective type Test shall be of 40 marks, 45 minutes duration comprising of 40 Multiplechoice questions in the areas of General Knowledge, General English, Reasoning, Quantitative
Aptitude and Subject Based. The Descriptive type test shall be of 30 marks, 90 minutes
duration comprising of Subject based questions. Accordingly, weightage is assigned to the
following parameters for the selection:-
 Objective type test Marks : 40% Marks
 Descriptive type test Marks : 30% Marks
 Group Discussion : 10% marks
 Personal Interview : 20% Marks
(iii) Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Objective type test, the candidates shall
be short-listed for certificate verification in the ratio of 1:6, in the order of merit. Candidates
who successfully complete the certificate verification shall only be allowed to attend the
Descriptive type Test followed by a Group discussion & Personal interview. In case, same
marks secured by more than one candidate in the Objective type test, marks scored in the
Subject part of the Objective type test shall be considered as the basis of determining the
order of merit list. In case of a tie thereafter, relative merit shall be decided based on
seniority in age.
(iv) However, CSL reserves the right to fix minimum marks for pass in the Objective type test for
the purpose of short listing candidates for the certificate verification and in such cases, th
